Dazzling Debut At CDF, 2015/2016 Highlights & November O&R
Bravo! Older & Reckless made a dazzling debut at the Canada Dance Festival 2016 Festival Danse Canada. What a night! The sold out performance received a standing ovation from our wonderful audience. O&R performers Ron Stewart, Robert Desrosiers with Anne Bourne and Esmeralda Enrique with Tamar Ilana & Caroline Planté were breath-taking. It was thrilling to premiere Lina Cruz's Room #7 with my beautiful, brave fellow performers Louise Bédard, Karen Kaeja and Philippe Noireaut. Magical it was for the oldies to wrap this vibrant week of stunning work. Heartfelt thanks to Jeanne Holmes, Jason Dubois and everyone at Canada Dance Festival for a fabulous festival of coast to coast artistry!

Fun(d)raiser/Kick-off for MOonhORsE Dance Theatre's 20th
This special presentation of Older & Reckless celebrates MOonhORsE Dance Theatre's 20th anniversary with some of Canada's most distinguished veteran dance artists and choreographers in an evening of short works, including:
Beloved dance legend Margie Gillis (Montreal), dance theatre maverick Robert Desrosiers, acclaimed dancer/co-founder of COBA (Collective Of Black Artists) BaKari I. Lindsay and, from New Zealand, choreographer/director Charles Koroneho. To mark her company's 20th, Claudia Moore will perform a solo by Apolonia Velasquez and Ofilio Sinbadinho (Gadfly).
Older & Reckless will also feature Joe- an exciting community project! An excerpt of Joe, the late Jean Pierre Perreault's iconic contemporary dance work, will be taught to a cast of 20, offering participants a unique and inspiring dance experience. The majority of the performers will be amateurs, along with several former Joe performers- including Julia Aplin, Bonnie Kim, Julia Sasso, Gary Tai and Gerry Trentham - reviving their roles. Not to be missed!
