Q&A With BaKari I. Lindsay

What is your current artistic focus?

My artistic focus at present is defining my performing style as an older artist.

Why you're looking forward to performing at Older & Reckless?

Its an honour to be sharing the stage with some of Canada’s renowned dancers.

Tell us a little about the work you will present at O&R or what sparked its creation?

The work, Ancestral Calling, was commissioned by my first dance studio in Trinidad, Les Enfants Dance Company, to celebrate the golden jubilee of its founder Joyce Kirton. It was meant to be a one time performance work, which appeared on social media and was then presented again by Claudia for Older & Reckless.
