Dreams come true at Older & Reckless Kelowna!

Older & Reckless Kelowna, June 11 - 15, 2018, part of the Creative Aging Festival presented by Rotary Centre for the Arts

- a sweet success!

Simone Orlando, Ballet Kelowna's Artistic Director and CEO, made a magnificent return to the stage, the 18 local community dancers were stellar, including son Zak Borzovoy, and I got to perform for my granddaughter! It was a magical time thanks to RCA's former GM Patrick LeBlanc, Program Coordinator Dawn Larsen and the entire RCA team. Kudos to New Horizons for Seniors for supporting a brilliant event - over 800 in attendance!

MOonhORsE was thrilled to form the backbone of RCA's Creative Aging Festival, by setting up daily workshops with the O&R artists. All events were free to the public! Bravo to O&R performers Stelio Calagias (Nelson BC), Cori Derickson (Westbank First Nations), Joe Laughlin (AD Joe Ink), Simone Orlando with Ballet Kelowna dancers Valentin Chou and Kurt Werner, Patti Tennessy (Nia blackbelt instructor), Neil Cadger (AD Living Things) and ALL who lit up the O&R stage on June 15.Hurray for our awesome audience - you started the performance right, swinging to Joe Laughlin's warm-up moves!

Kelowna - Older & Reckless is already planning a return visit!

Wishing you a beautiful summer. Nothing beats working up a good sweat whilst dancing!
