February Newsletter

February 5, 2020

2020 got off to a beautiful start with a January Engaging Seniors in Dance - our fourth session of classes for senior movers.

A big thanks to all the participants who dove into the physical fun led by inspired leaders Carol Anderson, Julia Aplin & Michelle Silagy

Here’s what they said:

“It was truly nourishment for the body and soul. The quality, caring and creativity of the instructors, and an atmosphere of joy and acceptance made it magic.”

– Megan

“I left each day with a wonderful sense of fluidity and well-being; in particular I became intrigued by relating individual movement to an awareness of movement of others in small and larger groupings and found it applicable to how one can move around in the world in connection with others by, for example, just walking down a street. Thank you, and with much appreciation.”

– Sandra

On January 26, Claudia was honoured to celebrate Karen & Allen Kaeja’s Dance Ontario Lifetime Achievement Award with 30 other stellar dance artists who have played a part in the Kaeja’s lifelong dance adventure. We salute the Kaeja’s remarkable work and look forward to more!

Good news from our friends!
