What a year this has been! 2020- so long, farewell and thanks for shaking us up!
A big congrats to each of you. You got through it! While our essential workers continue to put their lives on the line, artists are helping keep bodies healthy & spirits lifted! MOonhORsE is elated to have offered support to artists & community movers through our online Older & Reckless 20th anniversary event & Engaging Seniors in Dance.
These have all helped me in a big way this year: pre-lockdown visits with family, video calls with the grandkids, my husband’s homemade bread, nature walks in the ravine, the birds & the black walnut tree in our yard, friends who are there to share the ups & the downs, dancing outdoors & at home in our seniors’ classes with Carol Anderson, Charmaine Headley, Sara Porter, Natasha Powell, Michelle Silagy & Julia Aplin; also- Martha Randall’s nia classes, Julia’s Triple C sessions with Penny Couchie & Denise Fujiwara’s Moving Meditation- heartfelt thanks!
At MOonhORsE we are most grateful for your support throughout 2020. We truly hope that 2021 will allow us to be together- dancing through life and working towards equity for all.
With love, thanks and warm wishes for the holiday season- the light is returning!
