OTHER FEATURES included in our Zoom classes

- a brief check-in period before class to say “hello”

- an assistant “buddy” if participants need tech assistance or personal attention during the class

- a social time after class if participants wish to share comments and/or ask questions

INFO & THOUGHTS for new participants

Our classes are led by experienced instructors who offer a variety of movement styles using their own teaching methods. The Zoom platform has its challenges, and we make our best effort to assure a creative and enjoyable experience for all!

Our participants have various movement backgrounds and levels of skill. Some have been with us for a while, and some are new. Please listen to your body and adapt the movement as you wish. No previous experience is required!

For a positive experience we encourage you to approach each class with an open mind and to respond in your own way to the various movement offerings. Each teacher offers something of value - some focus more on physical technique and others are more challenging to our creative abilities, some use music and others don't, some use visual cues and others use verbal cues. All these approaches enliven our physical health, movement range, brain activity and creative potential. Embracing new challenges can have a positive effect on our health.

First time participants are invited to attend a Zoom orientation. We wish to learn about your past dance experience, to share more about what we offer and to address any questions or concerns you may have about MOonhORsE Dance Theatre’s Engaging Seniors in Dance program. We are excited to dance with you!
